Obviously we went for a Sex Pistols vibe here, which we felt was appropriate as the band in the first issue (Stunted Growth) have the potential for Sex Pistols-like impact.

Also, the Pistols (or at least one member of the band) were being appropriated by another comic, that wasn’t really very punk rock.

Finally, one of Jeff’s favorite guitarists is the Pistols Steve Jones, and has even released an expanded CD of Steve’s last band, The Neurotic Outsiders, which also features Duff McKagan (Guns N Roses), John Taylor (Duran Duran), and Matt Sorum (Cult, GnR), produced by Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads, Modern Lovers).

This is the final artwork we landed on. Ir was truffle - I liked the graphic simplicity of the rough version, but everyone agreed this is a better illustration.
